Active participation in the Alumni Association of Rush Medical College creates ample opportunity for career networking and social engagement with fellow Rush-trained physicians. We offer several volunteer opportunities within the alumni association. Your assistance is always needed and welcome.
- Class Agents: While our class agents are usually elected by their class while they are students, we occasionally have an open spot to fill. A class agent serves as a key liaison between his or her class and the Office of Alumni Relations; assists with planning alumni programs and reunions; helps locate lost classmates; and assists with class communications.
- Executive Council: The Executive Council is made up of five officers and at least 10 councilors each serving a two-year term. Officers and councilors of the Executive Council are nominated by a committee consisting of four alumni appointed by the president of the association and subject to confirmation by the Executive Council at its annual meeting.
- Committees: Alumni volunteers are always needed and welcome to serve on any of our four Alumni Association committees — reunion and events, student involvement, communications, and fundraising.
For more information about any of our volunteer opportunities, please contact the Office of Alumni Relations at alumni@rush.edu or (312) 942-2569.
