Over 150 alumni came back to “where it all began” on October
4 and 5 for Rush Medical College 2013 Reunion.
Class years ending in 2, 3, 4, 7, 8, and 9 celebrated their
time at Rush with a variety of activities throughout the weekend.
he festivities began with a tour of campus, including the
Anatomy and Simulation Laboratories. Lab directors provided an update on the
learning opportunities accessible to students today. Alumni also received and
update on plans for the new Simulation lab.
On Saturday a tour of Tower gave a glimpse of into the
future of healthcare, and how much Rush has changed. Alumni also enjoyed lunch
and a chance to talk with current students about their Rush experience.
The weekend concluded with an exceptional banquet at the
Union League Club of Chicago. This was a great opportunity to reconnect with
classmates and faculty. Additionally,
the Campbell Service and Distinguished Alumni awards were awarded at the
banquet. We are very proud of our award
recipients Dr. Iam Lipkin '78 and Dr. Tony Kotin '77.
Thank you to all who came out for a truly memorable
