The Alumni Association of Rush Medical College bestows two awards upon alumni who have made outstanding contributions within their field. Awards are given annually.

The Distinguished Alumni Award of Rush Medical College was established in 1968 to honor alumni who have given distinguished service to the profession of medicine. The award is presented by members of the Alumni Association to a graduate who has brought distinction to the college through broadly recognized professional accomplishments. It is the highest honor that the Alumni Association can bestow upon one of its own.

The James A. Campbell, MD, Alumni Service Award was established in 1984 to provide special recognition to alumni and friends of Rush Medical College who have demonstrated outstanding loyalty and support to the college and/or its Alumni Association.
