Message from the RMCAA President

Karen Weinstein head shot  Hello, my name is Karen Weinstein. As president of the Alumni Association of Rush Medical College, I am pleased to welcome you to our Web site, providing you with an in-depth look at the alumni association, the medical college and Rush University Medical Center.

Furthering your education via CME, catching up with old friends and learning more about our current students are just a few of the things you can do on our site.

Whether you are a donor, a volunteer or just a curious Rush alum, the fact that you are visiting our site means you already have an affinity for Rush. I appreciate your interest and welcome any assistance you can offer to the alumni association. Your support enables us to aid medical students in need, publish our newsletter, Rush MD, and offer social and educational events for alumni.

I encourage you to volunteer within the association. We are always in need of alumni to join the Executive Council, assist with events and help fundraise. Volunteering with the association is an easy and rewarding way to network with doctors in your field, connect with Rush students, find out what old friends are up to and flex your altruistic muscle.

Thank you, again, for all you do for Rush. I look forward to working with you to increase alumni involvement and contribute to the future of Rush and its students.

Sincerely,

Karen B. Weinstein, MD, FACP, RMC 1983
President, Alumni Association of Rush Medical College

P.S. As we continue to increase our electronic communications, it is important that we have a comprehensive list of e-mail addresses for alumni. Please send your e-mail address to alumni@rush.edu.
