Alumni Privileges

Benefits of membership in the Alumni Association include receipt of our alumni newsletter, Rush MD, along with periodic updates from college and alumni association leadership. All alumni are invited to take part in our biennial reunion celebrations. Additional benefits include:

Rush Simulation Lab

RUSL procedure

Alumni are welcome to use the Rush University Simulation Laboratory (RUSL). Founded jointly by Rush Medical College and Rush College of Nursing in 2002, RUSL is a state-of-the-art training center equipped with life-sized, computer-controlled patient simulators where all levels of health care providers learn medical procedures in a highly realistic environment.

Special rates can be arranged for clinical refreshers in all primary and acute care specialties. Come alone or bring your team.

Learn more at the RUSL Web site. To review available time slots or to schedule a tour, contact Christopher McNeal at (312) 942-2576 or Christopher_A_McNeal@rush.edu.

Rush University Library

Alumni of Rush Medical College are invited to use the Rush University Library. For more information about alumni privileges, please visit the Rush University Library Web site.

PinsThe Alumni Association is proud to provide alumni pins to each graduate. The pins are a meaningful symbol and lasting reward for such an accomplishment. You can always identify Rush Medical College alumni by the pins worn proudly on their lab coats at institutions where they practice.

Continuing Medical Education

The Continuing Medical Education program at Rush University offers a range of comprehensive learning activities that vary in content — from basic reviews to "cutting edge" curriculum.

Learning formats include lectures, procedure-oriented seminars, diagnostic case studies, laboratories and workshops. Audio/Visual materials, as well as ancillary written reference materials, are used to supplement and enhance each learning activity. Our learning activities site lists the Rush CME activities for the current calendar year with course descriptions and information on how to apply.

For more information on continuing medical education at Rush, or to register for a learning activity, please call (312) 942-7119.
