Established at the time of Rush’s reactivation in 1969, the Benjamin Rush Society began with a 10-year commitment from alumnus R. Lincoln Kesler, MD. The society recognizes alumni, faculty and friends who make annual gifts to the college. Currently the Benjamin Rush Society comprises 245 faculty, house staff, friends and alumni members. Total alumni membership is more than 100 and growing. Thanks to their continued annual support, the medical college continues to vigorously pursue its mission of educating leaders for the health care environments of the future.
