This year, Benjamin Rush Society members and friends of Rush will again gather at the Robert W. Sessions House of Rush University to celebrate the impact of their gifts and hear the latest updates about Rush Medical College and the Medical Center.

To learn more about about joining the society or to receive more information about this event, contact Alysha Comstock, director of development and alumni relations, at (312) 942-7227.

The History of the Society

Established at the time of Rush Medical College’s reactivation in 1969, the Benjamin Rush Society began with a 10-year commitment from alumnus R. Lincoln Kesler, MD. Today, the Benjamin Rush Society is the premier giving society of Rush Medical College. It recognizes alumni, faculty and friends who make annual gifts to the college of $2,000 or more, with associate membership extended to alumni from the past 10 years who make annual gifts of at least $1,000.

Thanks to their continued support, the medical college continues to actively pursue its mission of educating leaders for the health care environment of the future.
